Independent equipment service for tablet laser drilling and laser marking lines: tablet transport and indexing, vision and reject handling, accessible laser interfaces, extraction, controls, interlocks and utilities. We service the machine and hand over as-found and as-left technical records. Everything that touches the product stays with your quality unit.
A tablet laser drilling line moves tablets past a laser at speed, holds orientation, drills or marks, inspects, and rejects what fails. The hardware is a transport and indexing system, a laser with its delivery and shutter arrangement, a vision and tracking chain, extraction, a machine controller and a safety circuit. Most reported faults turn out to sit in transport, indexing, vision or extraction rather than in the laser.
This equipment produces a critical quality attribute. On an osmotic-release tablet the drilled orifice is part of the product, not a cosmetic feature. That is why we treat every visit as work inside your change-control system from the first hour, and why the technical record we hand over is deliberately narrower than a validation document.
PhaseX can evaluate tablet transport, indexing and orientation hardware, feeders and conveyors, reject mechanisms, vision cameras, lighting and tracking interfaces, accessible laser and shutter interfaces, extraction and filtration, machine controls, I/O, HMI, interlocks and utilities. We do not create or change a drilling recipe, set or verify hole geometry, assess drug-release behaviour, perform or sign IQ/OQ/PQ, make the 21 CFR Part 11 determination for your systems, perform the contamination or cleaning assessment, or release a batch or product. Those decisions, and the validation that supports them, stay with the site and its quality unit.
Entry-capacity tablet drilling system; confirm installed laser, vision package and line integration.
Production drilling systems, single and dual configuration; confirm throughput configuration and reject handling.
Highest published CMS capacity class; confirm transport, vision and extraction arrangement.
Laser drill and marking platforms; confirm model line, drive type and installed options.
Further published platform families; confirm nameplate before any scope is agreed.
Development-scale units; confirm whether the unit sits inside a GMP area or a development area.
EAP Lasers publishes support for the installed EAM base. Where that route is the right one we say so and route it.
Send machine, laser, vision and controller nameplates. An unlisted builder is not an automatic refusal.
These are manufacturer-published platform names, used to identify customer equipment. They are product-identity evidence only: naming a platform here is not a statement that PhaseX has already serviced that platform, and it is not an OEM relationship.
A symptom routes the evaluation; it does not diagnose a failed part.
Send machine nameplates, exact alarm text and authorised screen images. Do not send batch records, product formulations, released recipes, validation documentation, system passwords or anything from a controlled electronic-records system.
Hole geometry, drug-release profile, recipe content, IQ/OQ/PQ, the Part 11 determination, contamination and cleaning assessment, requalification and batch or product release remain with the site and its quality unit. A PhaseX report is an equipment record: as-found condition, work performed, as-left condition. It is not a validation deliverable and it is not a release.
Site access for this equipment normally requires gowning, induction and, in some plants, a quality agreement. Tell us what your site requires before a date is agreed, because it changes how a visit is planned.
No. We provide equipment service and a technical record of as-found condition, work performed and as-left condition. Validation, requalification, IQ/OQ/PQ, the Part 11 determination for your systems, and batch or product release stay with the site and its quality unit.
No. Hole geometry and the recipe behind it are product attributes and belong to the site. We work on the machine that carries out the process and report what we measured on the machine.
No. Recipes, parameter sets and controlled electronic records stay inside your systems. We do not ask for them and we do not want them sent to us.
Tell us the gowning and induction requirements, whether a quality agreement is needed, who holds change control, and whether the work is inside a GMP area or a development area. That shapes the written scope before anyone travels.
Five fields to start, and no obligation either way. We reply with an assessment and, where site or bench work makes sense, a written scope and a fixed fee for your approval.
